School Policies

School Day

The school day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm. Students are allowed in the building at 8:15 am. There is no supervison of students prior to 8:15 am.

Students are late after 8:30 am. Students arriving late will receive a tardy pass unless they are “bus tardy” in which case an announcement will be made that students on a particular bus arrived late and could not make it to class on time.

Early Release

No student will be released to anyone other than a parent or guardian without the parent or guardian’s consent and proper identification. Parents or guardians coming to pick up a student must check in with the office and the student will be called to the office on the intercom.

School Uniforms

Uniforms are mandatory. The school uniform consists of a navy blue short sleeve or long sleeve polo shirt with the school emblem OR a navy blue turtle neck with the school emblem OR, in the winter months, a navy blue sweatshirt or sweater with the school emblem.

T-Shirts are NOT allowed. Hooded sweatshirts are NOT allowed.

School emblem iron-on patches may be purchased in the school office for $1.50 each or 5 for $5.00.

If you are ordering shirts from Lands End the emblem can be embroidered directly on the shirt for an additional charge. The logo number is 0531831K, the preferred school number is 9001-0271-6. If you order shirts from Lands End and use the Preferred School Number, the Warren Prescott School will automatically receive 3% of the net sales back from purchases made.
