Events & Fundraising
Throughout the school year, the Events and Fundraising Committee at Warren Prescott is instrumental in creating and executing successful events and fundraising programs that directly benefit our WP community. This committee, formed from a group of enthusiastic parents and families, works together to help create additional educational opportunities for our children at the WP. Traditionally, the group does an outstanding job at helping to provide our children with opportunities that make the Warren Prescott so special.
The Events and Fundraising Committee at the WP has been able to provide additional funding for key programs, as well as offering a vibrant social community. Programs that directly benefit from fundraising include:
• Computers and Technology
• Art and Music Initiatives
• Learning Materials and Teacher’s Aids
• Field Trips and Buses
• Enrichment Programs
• Professional Development for Teachers
The best way we can operate a successful committee is to organize around great people! Without volunteers this vital fundraising would not happen. Please contact Committee Chairs, Cindy Sullivan or Suzi Briggs if you would like to volunteer or if you are able to help in the following roles:
Event Managers – Responsible for leading/managing a specific event
Assistant Managers– Will assist Event Manager on a specific event – time commitment varies based on task
Committee Members – Part of the committee who volunteer any amount of time or talents
Volunteers – Anyone from the WP community who would like to volunteer to help
Please consider joining this wonderful committee. We look forward to organizing many successful events for the remained of 2013, while also developing new events for the 2013/2014 school year!
